Ice Skating Rinks in Lans & Nearby

The Lansersee Lake

The lovely swimming lake is popular during summer, but during winter, it turns into a magical ice skating rink as soon as the layer of ice covering it is thick enough to safely glide across it on ice skates. The beautiful frozen lake is a fantastic thing to see and always a magical adventure for families with children. Take your kids in the buggy, pull them along on a toboggan, or let them explore on their own – enjoy family time and fun here at the Lansersee completely free of any charge.

And as soon as you have caught the ice-skating bug, there are many more places to go ice skating in our holiday region during winter. Glide along the ice on the indoor and outdoor rinks at the ice stadium Innsbruck - Olympiaworld, in Igls at the valley station of the Patscherkofelbahn lifts, or in the quaint village Rinn.

Curling

The curling rink in Igls is only 2 km from our Haus Olympia. This fun game is a great way to spend the day and the rink is popular with local curling enthusiasts we call "Eisstockschützen"(transl. "ice stick shooters").

Two curling rinks are available for guests to enjoy from the beginning of December until the beginning of March. The rinks are right next to the ice skating rinks in Igls and the equipment necessary for the game is also available for rent there.
