Our house, awarded 4 Edelweiss, offers two spacious apartments furnished in traditional Tyrolean style, featuring private sun terraces and stunning mountain views. Our guests especially love the location: you stay in the idyllic countryside on the Lans sunny plateau yet reach the city of Innsbruck in just 10 minutes. Thanks to the free use of public transport in the region, you can leave your car relaxed at our parking lot.

Are the apartments suitable for singles, couples, and families?

Yes, absolutely. Our flexible living units provide an ideal retreat for singles and couples seeking peace, as well as for families and small groups who appreciate plenty of space and separate bedrooms.

Are there barrier-free holiday apartments or rooms?

Yes, our Apartment A on the ground floor is accessible at ground level and specifically suited for persons with reduced mobility.

Are dogs and other pets allowed?

Upon request, we warmly welcome small, house-trained dogs. We kindly ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed on beds or sofas.

Is Wi-Fi available and is it free of charge?

Yes, we offer our guests free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire Haus Olympia.

Is smoking permitted at Haus Olympia?

Smoking is not permitted inside our apartments. However, you are welcome to smoke on the balconies and terraces.

Is Haus Olympia suitable for families with children?

Yes, we are a very family-friendly house. With our large garden, safe surroundings, and spacious apartments, we offer plenty of room to play and relax. The close proximity to adventure hiking trails and kid-friendly ski resorts makes us the perfect base for your family holiday in Tyrol.

What facilities for children are available directly at the house?

For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide baby cots and high chairs. We also offer a selection of games and, of course, our large garden for running around.

What leisure activities for families are nearby?

Lans and the Innsbruck area are a giant adventure playground: In the village, you will find a forest playground with a pump track and the Lake Lansersee. On the mountain, the "Kugel-Wald-Bahn" (wooden marble run), the Patscherkofel, the Mutterer Alm, and adventure trails await. In winter, children’s ski schools, toboggan runs, and ice skating spots are highlights.

What child-friendly infrastructure is available in Lans?

In Lans, families find everything for their daily needs: a forest playground, football pitch, and the "Forstmeile" fitness trail are within walking distance. A highlight for kids is visiting the neighboring farm for lama hiking or to pick up fresh milk and eggs. Pony riding is offered at the nearby Igls-Innsbruck Riding Club.

Are there apartments with separate bedrooms?

Yes, our Apartment A features two separate double bedrooms. In one of the rooms, an additional cot or extra bed can be placed.

Are there cooking facilities in the apartments?

All our holiday apartments and the studio feature a fully equipped kitchen including a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, as well as cooking and dining utensils.

Is there a coffee machine and a kettle?

Yes, every apartment is equipped with a Nespresso machine, a filter coffee machine, and a kettle.

Is there outdoor seating?

Yes, each apartment has its own private sun terrace with high-quality garden furniture and sun loungers. Additionally, our extensive garden is open to all guests.

Is there a bathtub?

Yes, Apartment A is equipped with both a bathtub and a shower.

Are there sauna or wellness facilities?

We do not have a wellness area in-house, but the neighboring Hotel Walzl offers Day SPA options. Further first-class sauna landscapes are located in Innsbruck (Salurner Straße Steam Bath) or Fulpmes (Stubay).

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes, the initial set of bed linen and towels is included in the price. Upon request, we are happy to change them during your stay.

Is there a washing machine or a laundry room?

Yes, we offer a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Additionally, each terrace is equipped with its own clothes airer.

Is there a bicycle room or ski storage?

Bicycles can be safely stored in our lockable garage. For ski equipment, a ski room with a boot dryer is available.

Is breakfast offered at Haus Olympia?

We offer a regional "Breakfast Basket" (Frühstückskisterl), which we deliver directly to your apartment door in the morning. It contains fresh products from village farmers and local bakers. Additionally, you can pre-order a first fridge filling for a relaxed arrival.

Are there farm-grown products?

Yes, we offer homemade jams and honey. Other fresh products like milk and yogurt are sourced directly from the farmers in Lans.

Are there restaurants or inns nearby?

Lans is known for its excellent gastronomy. Traditional inns such as the Isserwirt, Wilder Mann, or Walzl are within easy walking distance.

Is there a bar nearby?

Cozy bars can be found in the village restaurants, in the neighboring village of Igls, and of course in the old town of Innsbruck.

Lans is located on a sunny plateau, approx. 5 km south of Innsbruck in Tyrol. It offers the perfect balance between alpine tranquility and city proximity.

You can enjoy the idyllic countryside while still being perfectly connected to Innsbruck via buses and the tram (Line 6). Whether you’re interested in culture at the Hofburg or hiking on the Patscherkofel—everything is right nearby. Lans is also located in the Olympia Ski World Innsbruck ski area, which is one of the most beautiful and diverse ski regions in Tyrol. Our local mountain, the Patscherkofel, is just a 3-minute ride away from our Haus Olympia on the free ski bus. Other nearby ski areas: Glungezer (10 minutes), Mutterer Alm (15 minutes), Schlick 2000 (20 minutes), Stubai Glacier (45 minutes), Kühtai (60 minutes), Axamer Lizum (45 minutes), Nordpark - Seegrube (30 minutes), Serleslifte (15 minutes), Rangger Köpfl (30 minutes), Skiwelt Rinn—for beginners (5 minutes), Bergeralm (20 minutes).

The Lake Lansersee is located directly in the village. This natural moor lake offers excellent water quality and a large sunbathing lawn.

A bike rental shop is located directly in the village of Lans. You can store your own bikes safely in our garage.

Are there cycle paths or bike tours in the area?

The trail network starts right at our doorstep. From leisurely panoramic rounds on the plateau to demanding MTB trails on the Patscherkofel, there is something for everyone.

Nature & Hiking: What are the options?

Lans is a hiker's paradise. The offer ranges from relaxed walks in the Lanser Moor nature reserve to high-alpine tours and via ferratas on the Glungezer or the Nordkette mountains.

We accept bank transfers in advance or cash payment on-site.

How can I cancel my booking?

Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. After that, staggered fees apply. We recommend taking out travel insurance.

When is check-in and check-out at Haus Olympia?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM. We are happy to consider special requests regarding luggage storage or times whenever possible.

What is the best way to get to Haus Olympia?

Lans is located just above Innsbruck. Innsbruck Airport is approx. 25 minutes away, and the main train station is approx. 20 minutes away. Arrival by car, train, or shuttle is easy and convenient.

Can I arrive by public transport?

Yes, the connections are excellent. With your guest card, you can use buses and trains in the region free of charge. We also offer a pick-up service upon request.

Is there a pick-up service?

Upon request, we can organize a personal shuttle service from Innsbruck Airport or the main train station.

Is arrival by car possible in winter without problems?

Yes, the roads are reliably cleared. However, we recommend carrying winter equipment (winter tires are mandatory).
