Ski Mountaineering & Snow-Shoe Hikes in our Vitality Region

Our home mountain, the Patscherkofel, as well as the nearby mountain Glungezer offer ski mountaineers and split-boarders many tours to enjoy.

Anybody interested in this fantastic sport can go on a guided tour with experienced and certified mountain guides in the backcountry terrain far from the ski slopes. There are ski mountaineering courses available for all guests ready to venture out into the deep snow. Here at the Haus Olympia we are always happy to give advice and even organise tour guides for our guests.

Snow-shoe hiking

This is a lovely sport suited to anybody looking for a special winter experience.

There are weekly guided snow-shoe hikes free of charge for guests to the Gasthof Meissnerhaus at 1,700 meters above sea-level which also includes a fun ride on a snowmobile.
